In our last post, we talked about the decadent red wines we serve at Bella Via to accompany our traditional Italian food. Today, we’ll look at the white wines that go so well with many of our guests’ favorite dishes as well!
Introducing the White Wines
White wines are often served with dishes that feature chicken or fish. Our selection includes a wide range of white wines, and the following are among our most popular:
Pinot Grigio. This incredible white wine has an enjoyable fruity flavor that belies its pale straw color. It comes from the Due Torri vineyards in Veneto, Italy; near the heart of the famed Valpolicella region.
Chardonnay This white wine traditionally was created in the Burgandy region of France, but we’ve found a delicious variety from the shores of Australia’s vineyard region instead. It’s a delicious wine that goes with almost any meal.
White Zinfendel. A light, pleasant white win, our Zinfendel is made from grapes grown in California’s forgiving climate. Enjoy a glass with any of our cheese dishes as a smart contrast in flavors.
Sauvignon Blanc. Another wine that originated in France, but went “Down Under” in production when valleys turned into vineyards off of New Zealand’s Pacific coast. It’s bright flavor and incredible aroma make this wine a favorite.
Prosecco di Conegliano. This dry, sparkling white wine comes from the Veneto region and pairs well with a light repast. It is a chilled wine, served similarly to champagne, and can be ideal for celebratory dinners!
Just like our red wine selection, all of the above white wines are available by the glass or by the bottle. Enjoy a glass or two with your special someone, or share a bottle with another couple for an evening to remember.
