Introducing the Red Wines

Red wines are often served with dishes that feature red meat such as beef or lamb. Our selection provides a wide variety of red wines, and the following are our most popular:

Merlot. Our merlot comes from the McManis family vineyards in California. This full bodied red wine delivers a mix of black fruit flavors and a vanilla creamy texture. The 6 month oak aging process creates a toasty finish that is hard to surpass.

Cabernet Sauvignon. This red wine is from the Hahn Estates, also a Californian family vineyard. It’s smooth, spicy flavor is heavily accented with plum, and the finish is faintly herbal.

Sangiovese. A rich, heady red wine, this specialty import is from the Monte Antico vineyards in the heart of Tuscany. Rich with notes of leather, black cherry, plum and licorice, the wine is aged in oak for a year, then another 6 months in the bottle.

Montepulciano. This delightfully fruity red wine is rich with the flavor of dark leather, cherries, blackberries and chocolate. It is made in Masciarelli, the largest organically farmed estate in Italy, and is a superb house wine.

Pinot Noir. This familiar red wine is an excellent choice for those who prefer a more traditional flavor. Complementary hints of dark currants, ripe plums, black cherries and allspice make this wine a favorite.

Malbec. This incredible vintage hails from the Bodega Goulart vineyards in Argentina. The combined flavor of blackberry and wild cherry is offset with notes of tobacco and white pepper, for an intense taste.

All of the above wines are served at the table by the glass or by the bottle, so they are an excellent choice for either an intimate dinner for two or for a foursome!
